No, my expression here doesn’t reflect how I feel about these whoopie pies
This video is somewhat sentimental for me because I featured Stanley Tan’s whoopie pies five (5!) years ago. Some of the bakers I’ve written about aren’t even in business anymore, so I couldn’t be happier that after all this time, Stanley’s business, My Cookie Lab, is so successful.
The whoopie pies are thick and cakey-good and so fragrant with butter and vanilla. The Crinkle Whoopies, his newer product, are more dense and fudgy. Which one’s better? They’re different and both are good in their own way. This is definitely a cookie that I could go back to again and again.
