Tantalizing Tastes at Thai Bistro from DessertComes1st on Vimeo.
Yes, I know it’s been a few months but now that I’ve got more time on my hands, I’m proceeding at full throttle with Sweet Eats, the Dessert Comes First podcast. In this installment, I’m having lunch at Thai Bistro, a most innovative restaurant located at Robinson’s Magnolia. Its chef-owner is Cecille Chang, formerly of Thai at Silk and Simply Thai. Join us as she and I talk about her love for Thai cuisine and the incredible Thai Raviolli (yes, that’s how it’s spelled) that she’s created.
The episode will stream in HD on this website. My previous podcasts can be seen here.
Best thanks goes to my videographer, Bong Fernandez, who makes my transition from words to video so easy. And hey, check out the new OBB (opening billboard) he created for me.
Enjoy, everyone!
Whoa, a meal paired with Thai beer pa 😉 nice!
I agree with K… a bottle of Chang would be awesome with your meal. =)
I just got back from BKK yesterday and I am having withdrawal symptoms (from the food, haha) – this post came at the right time!
P.S. I LOVE your skirt!
I love the outtakes! “I’m eating!” Hehehe! Glad to see a new podcast Lori 🙂
hi lori,
congratulations on your first podcast! i love it and i love thai cuisine! 🙂
what’s the background song again? i heard that 6 years ago.
can’t wait for the 2nd podcast. 🙂
Wouldn’t it be better if you use Filipino rather than English in your webcast, since it is after all our language? In this interview for example, the owner of the restaurant wasn’t able to express herself clearly that I wasn’t able to fully imagine how delicious the food was.. If she had used Filipino, she would have given more justice in describing the food.
Hopefully you won’t take this as a comment from a hater. It isn’t. I love your blog. I really, really like the way you write.
