Ok, so I fell in love with the bulletproof coffee at Butter & Coffee, as you can see here. When I got back to Manila, I started looking at where else I could get this specialty brew closer to home. UCC Clockwork serves it and as my sister told me, so does this quaint little Paleo-oriented place called Cafe 2.0 (2-point-oh). So here’s my little vlog about the experience. The video is part of the newly-created DCF Short Clips, my playlist of raw, roughly-edited food videos.
Let me know if you like bulletproof coffee and where you get yours in Manila.

I get mine from UCC too. I just put in my own MCT oil since I only see them put butter in it.
I like it because the butter seems to keep the robust coffee taste linger in my mouth even if they do add a liquid creamer. It’s must be their beans.
To be upfront, it’s the only Bulletproof Coffee I have tasted from a cafe versus making some at home (I use beans from Stumptown and no creamer). I really have no other means to compare it against, until now.
I am excited to try the two places you featured for their bulletproof coffee interpretation.
On another note, I find it odd that I always comment on your entries that feature adding butter to porridge or coffee. I must secretly be in love with butter.
I know what you mean, especially when you see that oil slick on the surface. It’s rather off-putting.
So I just don’t look at it or let it get cold.
Hi, Lori! I recently tried the bulletproof coffee at Butcher’s Cafe in Bagumbayan, Libis. It was pretty nerve-wrecking if you ask me hahaha! But I’m not a coffee connoisseur so I really don’t know how to appreciate a more robust cuppa aside from the usual lattes I order. Maybe you have a better appreciation of it if you decided to swing by Butcher’s Cafe (and potentially wax poetic, hence come up with a new post) *wink* *wink! 😉
