Kirsten or "Kirt" Uy de Baron's fondest memories of food are of her family dinners at her Lola's house where her Lola would cook up homey feasts for all of them, slaving away with little to no help, in a hot and tiny kitchen. Growing up on episodes of Wok With Yan, Kirt developed a love for cooking shows. But her serendipitous brush with the foodie world began when she married her chef-husband, Him, in 2005. Since then she has been honing her culinary skills by cooking and baking for her three beautiful kids, exploring the newest restaurants and cafes, and eating her heart out. Her last meal on earth would consist of fresh, warm bread, butter, lots of chocolate and several cups of coffee.
