That must have been some dinner:-) Had a similar one recently at Cicou during one of the France Wine Festival events- six courses and accompanied by excellently-paired wines. Great fun!

Hi Lori. I am a huge fan of your website, and it’s really simple to understand why… I too am a chocoholic and a carnivore. If it were up to me, I’d visit your website everyday and a new post would be up. As it is, I resist the daily urge to check out DCF in the fear that I might have to wait longer for a new post. Yes, I know… not checking your site means I HAVE to wait longer to find out too, but at least it’s waiting that I choose for myself and not imposed by another. Anyway… PLEASE don’t get me wrong. I wish to put absolutely no pressure on you for daily posts… I read your entry about that a year or so ago and I totally understand. I only wish to say that your work is very much appreciated (as are you!), and more power to you.

Lori, great post! I’m glad that such a place exists! Some of the dishes seem to be an amazing take on Filipino dishes. I love it! Next time i’m in the Philippines I’ll have to try this place.
