A food bazaar on November 12, 2011. All of my favorite food purveyors. 150 tickets available.

As the holidays approach, I’m always asked what gifts I’ll be giving. I always give gifts and my gifts are always food. During the holidays especially, familiar and new incredible edibles gleam like a constellation, and decision-making proves to be a delicious difficulty.

This year, I want to do something different. And so, with great thanks to Fully Booked and Selecta-Hershey’s, I present:

This is a special event where I’ve gathered 18 of my favorite quality food purveyors who offer an exceptional selection of both savory and sweet. Some of them will be familiar to you since they are stars in their own right and have already been featured here on DCF; others are brand new, creative sparks ready to set the local food scene alight with their creations.

You’ll get to know more about these individual purveyors and the products they’ll be showcasing in my upcoming feature pieces here on DCF. I’ll tell you now that the variety of food and products available at this event will tantalize taste and present you with items you’ll be proud to give as presents at Christmas.

The theme of this food bazaar is Sampling & Selling. As is the trademark of all of my DCF events, there will be an abundance of sizable samples for tasting from each of my purveyors. And since this is a food bazaar, there will also be selling of most of these items too. I call this event my Christmas Gift List because these are the same people I will buy my Christmas gifts from. All in all, a tremendous event to herald the holiday season.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:00pm.

P500 per ticket
Each person is allowed to purchase only two (2) tickets.
There are 150 tickets available; no reservations accepted.

A word to you, my valued reader:
This is my third event of 2011, an incredible feat now that I look back on it, to have organized that many events in one year. It began with a bang with the 6th Anniversary Party of Dessert Comes First, followed by the Dessert Comes First Food Photo Workshop and now this, my Dessert Comes First Christmas Gift List. I have a smaller event in the pipeline slated for early next year but this is the last event of this magnitude that I will organize for some time. There are other things that need my attention next year so if you’ve been meaning to attend one of my events, this is the time to do it.

I truly hope to see you on November 12. Let’s go Christmas shopping (and eating) together!
