Kobe beef sukiyaki sounds so good. I am currently an exchange student here in Japan and would be going to Kyoto for the Winter break. Could you please tell me exactly where that sukiyaki restaurant is? I am a big Tako fan as well. But if you want the tastiest tako, try the ones sold along the streets, not those inside the malls. I found them to be cheaper and have a bigger tako inside.

i’m a pinay living in tokyo and i totally know what you mean about rice at the end of a meal. the first few months here i suffered the confused looks of japanese waitstaff when i asked for my rice at the same time as my ulam! great site, by the way!
