“In my recent trip to Clark Freeport, I chanced upon an amazing restaurant inside Mimosa. It’s just past the Holiday Inn. It was better than the high-end restaurants in 5-star hotels in Manila! I think the name is YATS Restaurant. It is not that expensive but the food is great and they have an incredible wine cellar too.”

“I have to share this with you – the lamb rack at YATS Restaurant is out of this world. Aside from the fact the lamb is cooked to perfection, the sidings are even more exciting. This is real fine-dining stuff, best I have seen in this country, and second to none that I have seen in other cities including Singapore and Tokyo.”

hi! Maybe your blog-fatigue will be lifted if you try Ana’s super yummy chocolate cake from the “SanLo’s Famous” store in the gas station right next to the Dasmarinas Village Pasay Road gate. (The other side has Cuerva’s store on the 2nd floor.) Cell 0915 904 2631. She has yummy empanadas also (pricey at P50 but good enough for lunch) and tortas with queso de bola topping. She used to sell at the American Women’s Club and from her home in San Lorenzo.

As far as Duo steakhouse it is a great restaurant. Just to correct one of the posts, it is not a Larry Cruz restaurant. It is owned by the Prasad family, in partnership with chef Mau and Larry Cortez, not Cruz who used to work for Le Souffle and Billy King.

I have tried their sukiyaki. Yummy! You’re right, they’re not as sweet as the other Japanese restaurant’s sukiyaki.

Thank you for this post, Lori! As usual, your pictures are beautiful. Abe is my favorite restaurant in Serendra and the only one I have returned to there more than twice. It’s also become one of my faves in all of the Metro.
