thanks for this entry on Banana Q! i added this to my brochure assignment in my class. i’m making an all-snack Filipino menu. i think i’ll find this website useful!

I haven’t been back to the Philippines in 6 years but every time I go, I head strait for a Banana Q street vendor. Those pictures are making me very hungry and I’m almost ready to buy a $1200 plane ticket to get my mouth on one!

like mel and eric, i like banana q but i preferred turon, with a sweetened red monggo and langka! but not too sweet. how’s that? yummy right!

I just got back from visiting Manila last week with my girlfriend who is filipino. It was my first time there and I LOVED the food. So i decided to create my own blog about my journey to Manila and because we both love food so much also about the food we ate and encountered but your blog is so much better!!! I love your food pictures. I’m upset because I didnt get to try banana q but did love Turon very much. I even tried to replicate it here in Melbourne this last weekend. Have a look at my blog and tell me what you think.

I afraid that like mel, I also like turon better, but with a slice of langka. I'll probably have banana cue once in a while, but it's just a little too sweet for me.

Boo is SO cute. I like banana q but I prefer turon (probably because I can have with cheese rolled in the middle).
