Dessert Comes First at The Podium Mall

I’m so excited to invite you to my first food event of the year, my very first food fair ever! For a long time now, I’ve wanted an opportunity to highlight several home bakers and food purveyors whose creations make me crave for more. Along the way, I’ve also gotten to know artisan craft makers whose products feed my passion for tableware and everything else to do with the dining experience. I’m grateful to The Podium Mall for giving me this chance to showcase this talented group of people.

Of course, there’s nothing that boosts an event than even more events, so I’ve cooked up a few things.

  • First, is the Meet & Greet on Saturday, March 14. I’ve been asked repeatedly for another book signing event and I’m more than happy to do it. If you don’t have a copy of my book yet, this is an excellent time to get it. As an added plus, everyone who presents a copy of my book at the Magnum Manila booth from 3-6pm will get to make their own Magnum bar for FREE.
  • Then there’s the Baking Demo on Sunday, March 15. My good friend and professional baker, Cory Untalan of CRUKitchen, will demonstrate how to make a rainbow cake. In addition, she’s also going to show how to frost a cake using the ombre method, that beautiful technique of fading hues in a single color. There’s also a surprise at the end for those who will attend this demo, but I’m not saying what.
