so nice to know that jj had opened a branch here in the south coz im one of the original customer wayback their astrodome days.i really missed their mouth watering food and the special sauce that goes with it.after reading your article and seeing those pictures i can’t wait to check out their place in magallanes.thanks for the info!

oh my goodness! thank you for this post! i’ve been wondering for YEARS what happened to them. i was also a loyal customer of their Cuneta Astrodome branch and the Katipunan branch. wow. wow. wow. Can’t wait to check out the Magallanes branch! Thank you so much!

and oh… that sauce. i can taste it right now… hmmm, now i am going on a quest to find out what brand of margarine that is hehe…. =)

OHHHH!!!! I love their tuna and buntot!!!!!! Just wish the place is near my house!…. I eat tons of rice when im there. I do hope they open new branches.

You write so well. I drool over your writing more than I do over Jaemark’s food. And I am a Jaemark fan. Okay, enough fawning. I’m commenting to ask if you still have the Pico Iyer book, Global Soul. My hubby and I were among the throng of J&J [that's how we Joseph & Jaemarkâ€™s] fans who bewailed their closing the Bel-Air branch and later their Katipunan branch. So we were delighted to find they had reopened a branch some 2 years ago [?] on the second floor of the commercial bldg of the Petron station along C5. The Magallanes branch is a new one to me!
